Today, as well as building castles for advertising and promotions, entering competitions, and selling books and tools, my partner SandyFeet, my daughter Christy, and I offer lessons in sandsculpting... Take One!

 When I first came to South Padre Island, Tx. in 1978, just visiting, I thought I could never live here. Now, I have difficulty thinking of living any where else.

I guess you could say I'm stuck in the sand. Sand has taken over my life. I have little bags of sand from all over the country and as far away as Japan. Samples sent to evaluate the sand for some project in another mall or at another festival. I love it! I thought I was just frittering away my life playing on the beach at South Padre Island, but noooo.... I have made a career out of playing in the sand...
